NASA SCoPE is providing funds to support travel to LPSC 2025 for up to ten (10) early career researchers engaged in NASA-sponsored research; those who identify as members of historically marginalized communities are especially encouraged to apply.

The goal of the program is to encourage broader participation in the educational outreach efforts of NASA’s Science Activation Teams and to improve representation of historically marginalized communities in the SciComm landscape.

In addition to travel funding of $2,000/person, selected participants will also benefit from science communications training, certification, networking opportunities, and recognition on the NASA SCoPE website. The selected LPSC/SciAct Affiliates agree to participate in communications workshops held at the Lunar and Planetary Institute during the weekend prior to the start of LPSC.
