ROSES-20 Amendment 29: Delay of Step-2 Proposal Due Dates for Several Programs in Planetary Science

The Planetary Science Research Program supports investigations to help ascertain the content, origin, and evolution of the Solar System and the potential for life elsewhere, consistent with the strategy for Planetary Science Exploration embodied in the 2020 NASA Science Plan. The Planetary Science Research portfolio contains specific program elements aimed at addressing these strategic objectives.

This amendment delays the Step-2 proposal due dates for a number of programs in planetary science as follows:
The due dates for Step-2 proposals to both C.24 Yearly Opportunities for Research in Planetary Defense (YORPD) and C.6 Solar System Observations (SSO) is now June 17, 2020.
The due date for Step-2 proposals to C.20 Development and Advancement of Lunar Instrumentation Program (DALI) is now July 10, 2020.
The due date for Step-2 proposals to C.13 Maturation of Instruments for Solar System Exploration (MatISSE) is now July 17, 2020.
The due date for Step-2 proposals to C.4 Planetary Data Archiving, Restoration, and Tools (PDART) is now July 24, 2020.

This Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement “Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2020” (NNH20ZDA001N) is posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at http://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2020 and will appear on SARA’s ROSES blog at: https://science.nasa.gov/researchers/sara/grant-solicitations/roses-2020/
