Six new video interviews about astrobiology are now available for viewing on the TEDx website.

Interview topics range from science and religion to theories and models of the origin of life.

The interviews were conducted during “Seeking Signs of Life,” the Oct. 14 symposium celebrating the 50th anniversary of NASA’s Exobiology/Astrobiology program. The archived Webcast of the symposium is available online.

The TEDx videos feature symposium speakers Connie Bertka of the Carnegie Institution of Washington, Oxford University evolution researcher Martin Brasier, Pamela Conrad of NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Central European University origins of life researcher Jack Corliss, Denver Museum of Nature and Science curator of astrobiology David Grinspoon, and Washington Post science editor and writer Marc Kaufman.

Biographies of these speakers are available online.
