Applications Open: Inter-Connections between Life-Detection Science and Technology
A virtual workshop will be held in spring 2022 in two parts.
The NASA Planetary Exploration Science Technology Office and the NASA Astrobiology Program will be co-sponsoring a virtual workshop on the inter-connections between life-detection science and technology this coming spring.
The overarching goal of the workshop is to bring scientists and engineers together to collectively develop new and creative approaches to in-situ searches for life elsewhere in our solar system, 20 years, or more in the future. Topics that will be explored during the workshop include:
The workshop, hosted by Network for Life Detection (NfoLD) research coordination network, will be held in two parts:
Part 1: March 21-25, 2022 (16:30-20:30 UTC)
Part 2: April 11-15, 2022 (16:30-20:30 UTC)
If you are interested in attending please fill out the application prior to February 28, 2022. A nominal stipend will be offered to participants who fully attend and participate in both weeks of the workshop.
