Andrew Knoll, the Fisher Professor of Natural History at Harvard University, has been selected as the 2022 recipient of the Crafoord Prize in Geosciences by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. Knoll was awarded the prize “for fundamental contributions to our understanding of the first three billion years of life on Earth and life’s interactions with the physical environment through time.”
