Conducted by the NASASMD Science Activation Planetary ReaCH project
Planetary scientists/ astrobiologists (including graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, engineers and technicians) and informal educators are invited to apply to attend a workshop to discuss strategies for engaging diverse audiences, specifically Black and Latinx youth and their families, in planetary science and exploration. Participants will share their cultural identities, knowledge, and experiences in engaging diverse audiences, as well as practice strategies and hands-on planetary science activities during a public event at EcoExploratorio.
Workshop spaces are limited. The application deadline is October 1 at 5:00 p.m. CDT. Travel stipends are available.
