The Earth and Planetary Science Laboratory group at the University of Rochester is seeking applicants for PhD degrees. The group performs cutting-edge numerical simulations to model planetary impact processes, formation and evolution of terrestrial planets and moons in the solar and extra solar systems as well as geodynamic processes of planetary interiors.

Students with strong backgrounds in physics and computer science are encouraged to apply. Applications will be accepted through the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences (http://www.sas.rochester.edu/ees/graduate/apply.html) and the Department of Physics and Astronomy (https://www.pas.rochester.edu/graduate/applying.html) by Jan 15, 2019.
