Project Progress

VPL scientists gave a wide array of seminars and public talks during the past year. 6 different scientists gave a total of 21 colloquia. The topics of these seminars ranged from the formation of exoplanets to biosignature detection to photosynthesis. 14 scientists gave public talks at various schools, astronomy clubs, and public events around the country. The general public (both in the United States and abroad) was further engaged through 2 radio interviews, 1 television interview, and 5 press releases and 10 interviews to newspapers, magazines or web sites.
