VPL is developing an immersive interactive game for students and the general public. The goal of this Extreme Planet Makeover is for the user to be able to shape the formation of a planet, from rocky planetestimal into a full-developed world, by changing vital attributes of planet, such as distance from its star, atmosphere, and volcanic activity. Players try to guide the formation of the planet to create their own unique world. At the completion of the game, the player can download and print a picture. This interactive will be distributed on the VPL and PlanetQuest websites, and will also be made available to museums and other informal education venues.
