Project Progress

During the past three years I have devoted a large fraction of my time
to prepare a major book project, the Handbook of Star Forming Regions,
which has just been completed. I am the sole editor of this two-volume
1900 page book project. The Handbook discusses in depth the 60 nearest star forming regions to the Sun, thus synthesizing virtually everything we have learnt about star formation near the Sun. The book is being published by the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, and is the first of its kind.
