EPO Activity: Campus Honors Program (CHP) 395. Yellowstone Biocomplexity and Astrobiology, Undergraduate Course

Project Progress

The Yellowstone Biocomplexity Course is a cornerstone class of the Campus Honors Program at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. The course provides a hands-on research experience at Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park. Students develop a research question and testable hypotheses while learning related geology, microbiology, and astrobiology concepts.

Students design and implement their experiments in the Park as a capstone course activity.
