EPO Activity: EPO - Tours of GCA Laboratories

Project Progress

Drs. Jason Dworkin, Jamie Cook and Daniel Glavin of the Astrobiology Analytical Laboratory (Fig. 1) conduct tours for educators and visitors who come to GSFC for professional workshops about once a month. GCA scientists carry out analyses of natural and synthetic extraterrestrial materials, e.g., meteorites, in the laboratory. A special tour was given to Bill Nye, the Science Guy, when he visited GSFC on September 8, 2011.

Dr. Reggie Hudson of the Cosmic Ice Laboratory conducted a tour for the astrobiology summer interns in June 2011. He also provides tour of the laboratory on request.
