Arizona Science Center, Astronomy Day 2011
The ASU Astrobiology program participated in a family event in honor of the International Astronomy Day at the Arizona Science Center (Phoenix, AZ) on Saturday, May 7, 2011. This day long event was sponsored by Honeywell and featured exhibits and activities related to astronomy during the day with a special telescope viewing program after sunset. ASU Astrobiology participated in a large entrance exhibit that featured planetary science, astrobiology and astronomy hands-on activities (Figure 1). This event attracted 1,513 visitors.
