Project Progress

The Whitaker Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania is proud to be the first attraction in Pennsylvania to present the remarkable Science On a Sphere display. As the visual centerpiece to its Forces of Nature exhibit, the five-foot animated globe showcases strikingly realistic images of many interesting global phenomena. To further their experience, visitors can choose from a list of pre-recorded programs, in addition to live presentations by science center staff.

The PSARC team is in the early stages of a collaboration with the Whitaker Center to provide astrobiology related content to their Science on a Sphere. Due to installation problems at the Whitaker Center planning has been delayed, but will resume in early 2010.
