EPO Activity: Exploration Day at Penn State

Project Progress

Exploration Day is an interactive science event targeted for a K-12 audience celebrating the importance of a strong Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education. Graduate students and faculty from the STEM fields at Penn State organize displays and hands-on activities for K-12 students to inspire them to pursue STEM studies and careers.

PSARC sponsored an astrobiology exhibit at Exploration Day that included an activity creating “icy moons” with tennis balls and dry ice.
