EPO Activity: Astrobiology Public Outreach
Project Progress
The Penn State Astrobiology Research Center hosts a web site located at http://psarc.geosc.psu.edu
An astrobiology meeting was hosted by PSARC on March 20-21, 2009. More than 25 astrobiology scientists contributed to the meeting.
Dr. John Peters from Montana State University gave a general public lecture at Penn State University. His presentation was entitled “The Role of Iron Sulfur Compounds in the Transition from the Abiotic to the Biotic Earth”.
Dr. Jim Kasting from PSARC gave a general public lecture entitled “The Climate of Early Mars” at Penn State University.
