Project Progress

ABRC faculty and outreach staff provide a wide range of field experiences for undergraduates. During the 2009 field season, eight day long excursions to Yellowstone National Park were organized for a variety of undergraduate summer groups including four NSF sponsored Research Experience for Undergraduate programs at MSU that highlight complex biology, neurosciences, chemistry and geobiology. Participating students are selected from across the country. ABRC provides graduate students and postdocs opportunities to present their research to under-graduates from visiting Universities during the field tours in Yellowstone National Park.
