Haley Sapers, Ph.D. is an astrobiologist studying how living organisms create unique features that can be used to search for life beyond Earth. She is particularly interested in the environments created by meteorite impact craters and the role they played in the origin of life and the generation of habitable environments on Mars. Haley is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre for Planetary Science and Exploration at the University of Western Ontario, Canada and will be joining the NASA Astrobiology Institute's "Deep Life" project at CalTech in Summer, 2016
