Project Progress

Undergraduate internships for minority students at the University of Puerto Rico – Mayaguez. During the summer internship the students worked on focused SEM-based projects related to searching for evidence of early impact events in Archean sedimentary rocks. In addition, the students received tours of laboratories conducting astrobiology research at UW, made two field trips to impact structures located in Wisconsin. Most of these students will present their research results at the 2014 Lunar and Planetary Science Conference.
