Project Progress

Members across the MIT team have been teaching undergraduate courses throughout the reporting period. Co-I Phoebe Cohen has been piloting a project called Geohistories in her Co-Evolution of Earth and Life / Geosciences 101 class at Williams College. Over the course of the semester, students in the class write a blog post about their hometown or another place of significance in their life. This blog, housed at http://sites.williams.edu/geos101/, is a place to collect these works and disseminate the fascinating stories behind the places we call home. The project will continue to be expanded and is in development as an outreach tool.
