EPO Activity: There's a Scientist in My Classroom! Workshop Development
Project Progress
MIT team member Benjamin Kotrc worked with partners from the MIT Edgerton Center, Cambridge Science Festival, HHMI, and Harvard University on the further development of teacher-scientist workshops that have been run successfully for several years under the name “Telling Your Story”. Changes included expanding the workshop into two consecutive sessions aimed at grades 4-8 and 9-12 respectively and working towards a significantly deeper evaluation of the classroom visits constituting the primary goal of this program.
