University of Hawaii, Manoa Reporting  |  SEP 2011 – AUG 2012

EPO Activity: Physics Day Open House

Project Progress

This annual event brought an audience of 75 K-12 schoolchildren from Hawaii local schools for a range of lectures and hands-on activities relating to research at Manoa. As part of this, all participants attend a short lecture and discussion section with members of the UHNAI team to introduce them to astrobiology.

UHNAI researcher Dr. Norbert Schorghofer presents a talk to a class of visiting high school students, comprising several local schools. The theme of this talk was the existence and importance (to astrobiology) of water on Mars.
