EPO Activity: Icy Worlds E/PO: JPL Tour

Project Progress

On February 2, 2012, a group of 29 high school students and 9 chaperones from Nikki Chambers’ Astrobiology class from West High School in Torrance, CA visited the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. In addition to a standard JPL tour, the students had a chance to visit Astrobiology laboratories, talk with astrobiologists (including undergraduate student interns, postdocs, and senior researchers), and see demonstrations of some of the ongoing research at JPL.
