Project Progress
The book Life, the Universe, and the Scientific Method (S. A. Benner, author, with illustrations by Jake Fuller, 320 pp) was targeted to science students in one of the classical disciplines encompassed by astrobiology (geology and planetary science, chemistry, physics, biology, informatics, engineering), helping them learn about the other disciplines. It was adopted as a teaching text at Georgia Institute of Technology in 2009. The book has supported public lectures at universities across the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, and China, including these:
