EPO Activity: Cassini E/PO Support to Titan

Project Progress

The Titan bookmark has been distributed at numerous events, to tens of thousands of students, teachers, and the public (tens of thousands of bookmarks distributed)

Many of the Cassini Scientist-for-a-Day essays written by students in grades 5-12 were about Titan. Students are particularly interested in the astrobiology implications of organics on Titan and comparisons of Titan with an early, prebiotic Earth. Students latch onto the question of whether life could exist on Titan. Excerpts from these Titan essays can be used to jumpstart teachers’ interest in Titan Astrobiology.
