The University of Washington is launching a new series of free virtual public science panels.

The first will be on May 26 at 6 p.m. Pacific Time, when four astrobiologists from UW try to answer “Where is the best place to look for life in the universe?” This panel discussion will be moderated by Dr. Michael L. Wong, followed by a live Q&A session with YOU, the audience!

The four panelists (Evan Davis, Lucas Fifer, Adriana Gómez-Buckley, and Trent Thomas) each bring unique expertise from their research and will try to make the case for why the environment they study is the best place to go looking for life, whether that’s the Red Planet, an icy moon, or worlds far beyond our solar system.

At the end, you will get to VOTE for the BEST place to look for life in the universe! We can’t wait to find out what you decide.
