The Rensselaer Astrobiology Research and Education Center (RARE) at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) is seeking applicants for a Postdoctoral Researcher to perform advanced research in one of RARE’s research areas. The incumbent is expected to develop and maintain scientific and technical expertise required to perform original research through self-direction and as part of a research team, and tailor research efforts to the needs of the supporting groups and research projects from academic institutions, industry and/or government. Candidates must have an earned Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in a relevant field. Candidates with specific expertise in experimental prebiotic chemistry and/or early Earth geochemistry will be given first consideration.
