  3. Program Solicitation in Tectonic Research



    The National Science Foundation (NSF) is now accepting proposals for research projects under the Tectonics Program. The NSF Tectonics Program supports a range of investigations aimed at understanding the formation, evolution and deformation of the Earth’s lithosphere through time. Such studies can help astrobiologists understand how our planet became habitable and the interconnections between the biosphere of Earth and processes in the lithosphere.
