Videoconferencing

The NAI maintains a videoconferencing infrastructure that allows NAI members to interact and collaborate using high-definition video and audio. Each team is equipped with a h.323 standards based High Definition videoconferencing system that allows them to connect with other teams, universities, and NASA centers. NAI’s system can connect up to 30 simultaneous HD videoconference connections and can bridge telephone and ISDN lines as well.

The NASA Astrobiology Institute provides videoconferencing support and capabilities to the astrobiology community on an as available basis for use in astrobiology research, education and outreach
