  1. Question

When astronauts are on Mars, what kind of shelter would they stay in?

We are a long way from sending astronauts to Mars, so none of the design work has been done for a Mars habitat. The requirements are similar to that of a habitat on the Moon or on the Space Station: a pressurized volume of adequate size that supplies air, water, and food, allows for eliminating or recycling of waste, and provides energy and maintains a comfortable temperature.
