  1. Question

Are there any plans to take samples of Desulforudis audaxviator or a colony of Tardigrade to another planet and leave it there to see if it survives?

I don’t know of any such plans. There would not be much point them taking these creatures to a hostile world like our Moon. Probably you are thinking of a relatively habitable world such as Mars. But there are international treaties that do not permit any life-forms from our planet to be taken to Mars; indeed, these agreements require that all payloads that will land on Mars are as clean a possible from biological contamination. In any case, I think the best way to study these fascinating creatures is in our laboratories on Earth, where we can simulate most of the conditions on Mars or other planets.
