Question
Are rocks considered living things? If so, then are there rocks on other planets making there be life that does exist other than on Earth?
No, I don't think any scientists consider that rocks could be living things. Rocks have none of the properties that we associate with life, such as metabolism or reproduction. For further information, you can find answers on this website to other questions that deal with the definition of life and with the basic requirements for life on other planets.
