  1. Question

Is life possible on or nearby quasars?

Not likely. A quasar is an extremely bright and distant active nucleus of a young galaxy, consisting of a compact halo of matter surrounding a central supermassive black hole. Because of the extremely high levels of x rays and gamma rays, it is hard to imagine a place that is less conducive to life. David Morrison
