Question
What is the new planet that is like Earth called thats in the Goldy lox galaxy
The new planet that has received so much publicity is named Gliese 581c -- which means it is the third member of the star system number 581 in the Gliese catalogue of nearby faint stars. Gliese 581a is the star itself, and 581b and 581c are both planets. These are members of our own Milky Way Galaxy, and are extremely close by astronomical standards (about 20 light years). (There is no "Goldy lox" galaxy). David Morrison
