  1. Question

Where would I find an illustration of the shape of the Earth without water? I've tried for years to imagine what it would look like from space.

There are many globes that show the contours of the ocean floor, which is simply the shape of Earth without water. Take a look in any store that sells maps or globes. As to the shape itself, you will hardly notice the difference whether the water is present or not. The total depth of the ocean is less than 1 percent of the diameter of the Earth.
