  1. Question

Im doing a school paper on astrobiology. How many years does it take to become an astrobiologist?

Astrobiology is just like any science. It can be done at different levels, each requiring different training. To become a research scientist, you would probably want to get a PhD degree, which normally takes 6 years beyond graduating from college. But for other jobs, including astrobiology laboratory work, education, and journalism, it may not be necessary to obtain a PhD.
